Who We Are & What We Do.

Incubex Minerals Limited (“Incubex”) is a South African registered public company, specializing in the industrial minerals sector. Currently, Incubex operates two mines: one for wollastonite and another for silica. The company is also in the process of acquiring two additional projects focused on kaolin and attapulgite, further expanding its mineral portfolio.

Strategy

Incubex is committed to growing its Industrial Minerals business through the following strategies:

  1. Enlarging Operations: Expanding activities at its existing silica and wollastonite mines to increase production capacity and efficiency.
  2. Value Addition: Enhancing the value of its mineral products through beneficiation, improving logistics, and targeting appropriate markets to meet industry demands.
  3. Acquisition of New Projects: Actively pursuing the acquisition of additional industrial mineral projects within South Africa and neighboring countries, including Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, and Mozambique.

Through these strategic initiatives, Incubex aims to solidify its position as a leading player in the industrial minerals market, driving sustainable growth and delivering value to stakeholders.

A retired medical practitioner. Lelau joined Boynton/Platmin in 2003 and assisted in listing on both the TSX and AIM in 2006. Co-founder of the Sephaku Group and former Chairperson for Sephaku Cement Pty Ltd and former CEO and Chairperson for Sephaku Holdings Ltd (JSE listed in 2009). Chairperson for Taung Gold Pty Ltd, African Nickel Holdings Pty Ltd, UAM Ltd, Sepfluor Ltd, Incubex Minerals Ltd and INSA Coal Holdings Ltd.

Practised for ten years as an advocate of the Supreme Court of South Africa. May 1989 to present: director of various companies responsible for strategic management and legal matters related to exploration and mining rights, corporate structuring and mergers and acquisitions. Founding member of Platmin Ltd, Sephaku Holdings Ltd (listed on the JSE, which built and is now operating a cement plant in South Africa), Taung Gold (developing gold exploration assets in South Africa), SepFluor Ltd (which built and is now operating a fluorspar mine and concentrator in Gauteng) and various other companies. Founding partner of AMED Funds since 2012, which invests in mineral exploration and development projects, mostly in Africa.

Commenced career in the Food FMCG (fast-moving consumer goods) sector in 1980, as a trainee manager for Woolworths SA. Successful management career at the Pick n Pay Group for 10 years. Later moved to the SPAR group as Senior Retail Operations Manager, promoted to head up the development of a new building division called Build It. After completing the launch and rollout of Build It, accepted position of GM Business Development at Metcash Africa. He took over the turnaround and control of the 5,000 banner group stores situated throughout Sub Saharan Africa. Established the PAX group in 2006. Joined Incubex Minerals as Chief Executive Officer on 1 March 2020.

Completed articles in 2011, whereafter practiced as an attorney for two years in commercial law and general litigation. Admitted as a Notary Public in 2013. In 2014, joined the Incubex Group as a Legal Advisor working on commercial contracts and company secretarial matters. In 2015, appointed as acting CEO of Incubex and assisted with the restructuring and debt management of Incubex. In 2017, officially appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Incubex. Completed MBA in 2019. After stepping down as CEO of Incubex in 2020, Elaine remains a director and legal consultant to the Company.

Started his career (2002 – 2005) at Goldfields Ltd as a geologist. Then moved to Xisaka Xa Tuba Geo Solutions where he worked as a geological data Holdings manager until 2007, when he joined Sephaku Ltd as Exploration Geologist. Competent person on fluorspar mineralisation, having been involved in the development and feasibility studies of the Nokeng Fluorspar project where he is currently the Mining Manager. Completed various courses and certificate programmes and is a member of the South African Council for Natural Scientists and Professionals and of the Geological Society of South Africa.

Jitin Bhatia

Director of Action Group and directly responsible for operations in South Africa. Played vital role in getting group into sectors: solar power, hydro power and coal mining. Extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions. Various acquisition deals across sectors such as IT, real estate, hospitality, coal etc., in India, Indonesia, USA, Mauritius and South Africa. Strong professional individual with good leadership qualities. Currently serving as President of CII India Business Forum (SA), a chamber/association of all Indian companies operating in South Africa. Independent Director on the board of MediValley (a Govt of India funded Medical Device Incubation company).

Geologist with Impala Platinum Mines in Rustenburg in 1980. From 1981 to 1987: Research Officer and from 1987 to 1990: Senior Research Officer at the Institute for Geological Research on the Bushveld Complex at the University of Pretoria.
Acted as a consultant for many South African mining companies, ran contract exploration projects, presented research papers at international conferences and published extensively in international scientific journals. Played key management roles in establishment and development of various exploration and mining projects (director in these companies). Founding member of Platmin Ltd, acted as group's Chief Executive Officer from 2000 to 2006. Registered professional natural scientist, member of the Geological Society of London and member of the US-based Society of Economic Geologists.

Yolandie Kleingeld

Business Development Executive
Yolandie Kleingeld has been a sales and marketing Professional with 15 years’ experience in the silica mining industry with expert knowledge of the mining process. She possesses a background in developing profitable business relationships, working with key accounts to increase revenues, setting achievable sales goals, monitoring retail sales and trends, developing major accounts, and designing programs to increase product knowledge. With Managerial and Bookkeeping experience from 2000-2002 and Sales Executive experience between 2002-2006, she joined Maxima Silica as a marketing manager since 2007.

Mabel Theron

Group Finance Executive
Mabel Theron is the Finance Executive for Incubex Minerals group since 2021. She has a total of 36 years’ experience in various industries, in a financial, accounting and IT systems implementation role. She has worked for companies such as Gemini and Accenture Consulting, Standard Bank and Absa Bank as well as the FMCG industry and has now progressed into the Mining Sector. She also managed on a part time basis the complete financial function for an NGO Affiliated with De Beers Mining Group from 2008 until 2016. Mabel obtained a qualification as a Chartered Secretary with the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators in 2003 and is and Associate member of the SOUTH AFRICAN INSTITUTE OF CHARTERED SECRETARIES AND ADMINISTRATORS. She also holds various certificates from Project Management to IT Cyber Security and Taxation.
